Lipoinyection
The use of fat to correct volume deficiencies is a technique that has been
refined through the years and has become more and more predictable in its
use. The discovery of its stem cell content has broadened its utility to
potential regenerative properties on the skin. Under local anesthesia
with sedation, fat is harvested through very small incisions and with very thin
cannulas.
The fat is washed and concentrated. It is then injected for the correction of
very large areas such as the buttocks, to smaller irregularities to exquisitely
localized areas in the face to enhance other procedures such as a face lift, or
as a stand alone procedure to achieve subtle but important results.
