Dr. David Ferguson ( Plastic Surgeon in Tijuana)
Doctor David Jimenez Ferguson graduated from the University of California, USA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a Biology major and Chemistry minor; he got his MD at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and did his specialty in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the auspices of the world famous Fernando Ortiz Monasterio in Mexico City. While Chief Resident, Dr. Jimenez Ferguson did a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota under the tutelage of reknowned reconstructive surgeon Ian Jackson.
Dr. Jimenez Ferguson worked as Chief of the Pediatric Burn Unit at the Trauma Hospital of the National Medical Center in Mexico City of the Mexican Institute of Social Security. In Tijuana Dr. Jimenez Ferguson was the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the General Hospital and was a Founding Member of the Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Baja California. Dr. Jimenez Ferguson is now dedicated to private practice where he has seen over five thousand patients.
Dr. Jimenez Ferguson is Board Certified (No. 247) by the Mexican Council of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the Mexican Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery and the Ibero Latinoamerican Federation of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
